Wow! You took a lost phone incident and built a micro thriller. I was so hooked, and the twist at the end landed perfectly. Brilliant structure, Rohan.
Always a Simran fan(lizard shooers are superheroes), now more so. Sorry you lost your phone, but it made this post hilarious. I can empathise with the misery of stolen bikes 🥲
This was riveting! And once the 'thief' was 'stationed next to Bandra Police Station', I actually thought he was going to return the phone to the cops and we would get a happy ending. Also — this post is the most compelling argument for marriage I've read/heard in ages.
Best - I agree with Simran. And damn- i so hoped she got to the auto and found your phone. (she would make for a better spy than you certainly!!). And as usual - what a fab read.
Ayeo! Sorry about the lost phone. Even more sorry if it was the auto wala who was not watching reels. I hate to think that he is using Uber on your phone now!
One of your best newsletters so far 👏🏼
Proud to see you blossom as a writer under my tutelage #Mentor #Guide #GoodFriend
Thank you. (Second line could have been conveyed in person.)
'someone who needed it more than me' - what a great last line :')
Yeah, it was. I did not appreciate it the first time haha. Thanks for reading, Karthik!
This is a masterclass in narration!! The interspersed childhood stories were amazing.
Thanks a lot, Amrita! Glad the structure worked. :D

Thanks so much, Sid! Have to find the silver lining in all things. :D
Read like a thriller 😊
Thank you, Binu!
Uff the suspense. Too good Rohan! What a fabulous read.
Thanks so much, Avinash! :D
Too good man. Love the details, the breakaways to older stories.
Thanks, man!

Haha, yeah, had to turn it into a writing prompt. Thanks for reading!

Hahaha, great perspective. Thanks so much, Vikram!
If it wasn't for Bandra traffic...

Thank you, as always, Savvy! Much appreciated. :D
Yes, I have zero spy skills. I'd be the spy whose death/disapperance opens the story. :/
🤣
Excellent saar!
Great story!
Rohan, you are just getting better and better everyday. So hilarious! When is your book coming out?
The interweaving of the stories was brilliant and the ending was excellent.
But, as a mother, I am curious to know how your mother reacted to you losing your 4th phone?
I think you should go back to hanging the phone around your neck as in our past lives. 😅
Ayeo! Sorry about the lost phone. Even more sorry if it was the auto wala who was not watching reels. I hate to think that he is using Uber on your phone now!
Kick ass!
