It has been a busy couple of weeks at work and I have (to my dismay) been left with little time to write. Nevertheless, I thought it would be impolite to renege on my publishing commitment. Particularly, during a week that has proven to be so momentous for space exploration: the lander module of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s lunar mission, Chandrayaan - 3, successfully landed on the moon earlier this week.
So, indulge me as I reach into the archives and bring to you a newsletter issue I wrote in late 2021 about NASA’s DART mission, Armageddon, and the cold war space race. Oh, and secret plans to blow up the moon. What could be more appropriate, right?
