But getting rejected by a whole country truly triggers a different scale of introspection :') Tis Sweden's loss.

True. I learnt about rejection the same way in ad agencies, where 99% of your 'ideas' and words are rejected. Writing is a sperm race searching for an egg.

Yeah, and to be rejected twice! Two different sets of officials saw the application and said, 'We don't want you here.' That really hurts.
But Norway came through for us, so all good.
