Loved every bit of it; the writing, the description, the humour. The series reminded me of the treks that I've done and how it felt in that moment. For a long time, I was obsessed with literature that had anything to do with mountaineering. Must say, your writing is as good as any of those books that I've read!

Wow, thanks so much, Namit! Really appreciate your kind words.

Speaking of books on mountains, have you read Wild Himalaya by Stephen Alter?

Incredible writing and what a read it made! Felt like it had a bit of everything; as complete an experience as you can hope for :)

I haven't trekked in snow like this before so reading you has made me want to experience this new layer. Thanks Rohan!

Thanks a ton, Ayush! So glad you enjoyed reading it.

Yes, would definitely recommend snow treks. They can be challenging but walking on pristine, stark white mountainsides is a surreal feeling. You should do it on your next trek. :)

Loved the essay! And the trek, of course. Enjoyed the walk - pardon the pun - through your journey and, at this point, quite jealous and amazed.

Also, I love oats but the slander was too funny xD Sniggered at once you finish the bowl you know the worst is behind you haha.

Lovely and engaging writing as usual Rohan, all three parts of it. Climbing a summit not on my list and thanks to your narration, will stay off the list. 😅
